Cookie notice
Which cookies the journal uses, why, and how you can control them.
This page explains the cookies and similar browser storage used on Recipe & Flow. In short: we use only what is essential, and no advertising, analytics or tracking cookies.
What cookies are
Cookies and local storage are small pieces of data a website saves in your browser. Some are needed for a site to work; others are used for analytics or advertising. We use only the first kind.
What we use
- rafConsent (local storage, essential): remembers that you have dismissed the cookie notice so it is not shown on every page. It stays until you clear your browser data.
- Security cookies from Cloudflare (essential, only in some cases): our network provider may set a short-lived cookie such as
__cf_bmto protect the site from automated abuse.
Pages also load typefaces from Google Fonts; this sends your IP address to Google but does not set cookies.
What we do not use
This site shows no ads and does not set advertising, analytics or social-media tracking cookies. Visitors may reach us through our Google Ads campaigns, but we do not currently use Google Ads conversion tracking or a Google tag. If we add one, we will update this page and our privacy policy first and, where required, ask for your consent.
Managing cookies
You can delete or block cookies and local storage in your browser settings at any time. Blocking essential storage only means the notice may appear again.
To see the notice again, use the “Cookie notice” button in the footer.
More detail is in our privacy policy.
